POWER Banner Competition Exhibition

POWER Banner Competition Exhibition

Challenge created to showcase and exhibit the winning and runners up entries for the Power Banner Competition.

“POWER Banner Competition”
All entries from the “POWER Banner Competition” are displayed here for view to all.
Judging took place on the 08.03.2019 by representatives from De Montfort University and Leicester City Council and was very difficult. All entries covered at least 1 of the 3 water topics (Flood Risk, Saving Water and Plastic Pollution), had large amounts of detail, artistic flare and beautiful colour schemes.
A big congratulations to the pupils from Church Hill C of E Junior School, Dovelands Primary School & Inglehurst Junior School for their winning entries and a big thank you to all pupils that entered the POWER Banner Competition. The winning entries have been converted into banners, which are on display in Watermead Country Park, Abbey Park, Humberstone Park, Spinney Hill Park and Westcotes Park until the end of June 2019.
